RIDE THE LIGHT
Les photos ont été prises en France.
J’ai utilisé le procédé appelé « light painting » qui consiste à utiliser des temps de pose longs et d’utiliser une lumière (photo) pour dessiner (graphie). J’aime beaucoup cette technique qui permet de créer un univers nouveau autour de la réalité.
A la lanterne lunaire ou dans l’incandescence artificielle,
Subtilement se cachent les leurs du soir.
A l’aune de lieux pourtant communs et dans l’indifférence nocturne,
La solitude propice à l’esprit révèle la poésie photosensible,
où la réalité s’offre à l’imaginaire au travers de pigment de lumière.
Hormis le contraste et la luminosité, aucune retouche n’a été faite sur ces photos. Il s’agit bien d’un procédé créatif réel et non de créations infographiques.

I used a process called "light painting" for this serie. This technique is to use a long appertur time and use a hand held light to draw an artificial exposure. I love this technique because it allows to create a new universe around reality.
Under the lunar lantern or in the artificial filament light
Subtly hide the evening glimmerings
Around commonplaces in the night's indifference,
The favorable loneliness reveals the photosensitive poetry,
where reality gives itself to the fantasy through light pigment.
Apart from the contrast and brightness, no editing has been done on these photos. It is indeed a real creative process and not a computer graphics work.
